We acknowledge that the land we meet and work on is the traditional land of the Kaurna people and we recognise the as the traditional owners and custodians of the Adelaide Plains. We recognise the significance for Kaurna people of their cultural and spiritual relationship with the land, sea, waterways and sky. We pay our respect to Elders, past, present and emerging. In particular, we acknowledge the leadership of Kaurna women their struggle across time for recognition and respect, and the work they they have done and continue to do to keep their families and culture strong.
OUR BOARD
We have a Board comprising at least six people – President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, immediate Past President and at least two other Board members.
The role of the Board is to attend to the administration of the Club, ensure good financial practices and provide governance of our processes.
All decisions are made by members at our monthly Club meetings.
