Advocacy is public support for or recommendation of a particular cause or policy.
The Zonta Club of Gawler advocates for issues supporting women and girls in line with the Zonta International Mission. We support advocacy projects related to homelessness of women, gender based violence, and decriminalisation of sex work.

Our Club also supports the United Nations Women program of 16 Days of Activism against gender based violence. This takes place between 25 November and 10 December each year and you'll see us out and about Gawler in our orange t-shirts. Click here for more detailed information
